Crestwood Academy

Crestwood Academy is a private, nonprofit microschool in Moore, Oklahoma, dedicated to providing a structured, academically focused, and meaningful educational experience for children.

Our mission is to cultivate strong character, critical thinking, and real-world readiness through small class sizes, hands-on learning, and a calm, purposeful environment where every student is known and supported.

Crestwood Academy was founded to offer families an alternative to traditional education by returning to a model that prioritizes structure, personal responsibility, and individualized learning.

We serve elementary-aged students in a small, intentionally designed environment where academics, character development, and life skills are integrated into daily learning. Our program emphasizes hands-on, project-based experiences, outdoor learning, and meaningful engagement rather than passive instruction.

As a growing nonprofit school, we are building our campus and programs from the ground up and are actively seeking volunteers who want to make a direct, lasting impact in the lives of children and the local community.

Volunteers at Crestwood Academy have the opportunity to support real educational work, from helping develop hands-on STEM activities and classroom environments to assisting with outdoor learning spaces, school events, and student enrichment.
