The Hispanic Alliance is an organization created from and for collaboration. We are consistently building a bridge of communication and understanding between the Hispanic/Latino and the broader community.

Our mission is to enrich the quality of life in our community by coordinating initiatives and building collaborations among service providers, the Hispanic members of our community, and the community at large.

Our vision is to improve the quality of life of the Hispanic community and the greater Greenville community through well-organized and collaborative social, educational, health, and legal outreach and services.

The Hispanic Alliance unites the largest network of individuals and representatives from various educational entities, churches, non-profit agencies, law offices, businesses and charitable and cultural organizations working in collaboration to improve the quality of life of Hispanics/Latinos in Greenville and the community-at-large. We build trust with Hispanic communities by speaking their languages, promoting their culture, and understanding and addressing their needs. We help our partner agencies serve the local Hispanic population in a culturally, linguistically and socially appropriate way through grassroots outreach, training and community events.

Our organization is nonpolitical and is a faithful advocate for diversity, equality, acceptance, and understanding. Our mission is about community empowerment and hope. By embracing diversity, accepting those who are different from us, and lending a helping hand to those in need, we believe great possibilities lie ahead for our community. Our network advocates particularly for those who have left their countries behind – as well as their families, friends, and culture – to pursue better opportunities for their children, just like previous generations did. Our mission is, ultimately, about embracing the American dream.

Our membership is free, and our network holds open meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of every month to convene a diverse group of agencies, educational institutions, businesses, churches and individuals interested in the well-being of the Hispanic population in the Upstate.
