Students of the World

Students of the World (SOW) is a nonprofit organization of university students and professional media makers who use storytelling for social good. Our mission is to support a new generation of creative leaders as they use their talents to produce purpose-driven media that inspires social action.

Our organization was founded on the belief that the next generation of leaders would have to be globally minded, socially conscious and critically engaged. Nearly 15 years later, we remain dedicated to supporting the ever-growing creative potential of the millennial generation through a range of innovative programming. As part of our university organization model, students create content year-round covering relevant issues and transforming local dialogue into stories of communal progress.

Everyday, remarkable organizations, companies and individuals are changing the world for the better, and by shining a light on these stories we raise awareness about positive change and inspire others to take action.
