Green Mountain Performing Arts, Inc.

GMPA’s mission is to enhance community cultural vitality by providing fully accessible dance, theatre, and music education in a creative and supportive environment to people of all ages, with a focus on children and youth. Incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in October, 2011, GMPA has since then experienced substantial organizational transformation. Today, GMPA serves its more than 200 students each semester with a diverse mix of educational offerings, including ballet and classical, Celtic, hip-hop, jazz, and modern dance; theater arts; and after school programs. GMPA works closely with the Washington West Supervisory Union of schools and other affiliates to develop meaningful, long-lasting partnerships with a variety of local organizations, and is poised for immediate and rapid growth. Its current annual operating budget is approximately $350,000.
