  • Misión

HEAL for Health Ontario strives to decrease Women and Children's health disparities across Canada and work towards health equity through health education and literacy.

    Acerca de

Through education and literacy, HEAL (health education and literacy) is committed to reducing health disparities between rural and urban areas in an effort to bring us closer to a world with health equity. Whether it's workshops, webinars, screening camps, or programs, community outreach and collaboration is always the focus of our work. We strive to establish a culture of health and wellness: where prevention is prioritized and rural access to healthcare is augmented. Our initiative span to our four programs: HEAL for non-communicable diseases, HEAL for female reproductive health, menstruation and neo-natal care, HEAL for monitoring vitals such as respiration rate, pulse rate, and blood pressure and HEAL for empowering women towards financial freedom. Through our launched programs, various international chapters, volunteer task-force, and fellow non-profit collaborators, we are able to leave an indelible footprint in communities in dire need of help. We aim to spread awareness through social media platforms, conduct workshops and webinars, and provide immediate help and relief through partnerships with local hospitals. Our impact consists of 1,500+ lives impacted by our webinars and events and 100+ volunteers who helped create that impact!
