Konbit Sante Cap-Haitien Health Partnership

Konbit Sante is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization formed in Maine in 2001 to support the development of a sustainable healthcare system in Cap-Haitien, the second-largest city in Haiti. We partner with four healthcare facilities--two public and two private--to provide care, outreach education, and staff training; improve sanitation and access to clean water; maintain existing infrastructure and construct new buildings; and provide needed supplies and medicines. We believe that Haitian problems require Haitian solutions, and work alongside our partners to achieve those solutions.
