Specialized Information - Toll-free phone line available to those desiring current information on chronic and disabling conditions and diseases, caregiving issues, and community resources.

Family Consultation - Del Oro's professional staff work with families and caregivers to conduct a comprehensive assessment; develop a plan of care; provide ongoing consultation and support; reduce caregiver stress; examine options and resources; and empower caregivers to make decisions relating to the care of their loved one.

Respite Care - Time limited substitute care to relieve caregivers from their caregiving situation. This service may be provided in the individual's home, or in an out-of-home care setting such as an adult day care center or assisted living facility. Del Oro contracts with select professional agencies/facilities to provide this service.

Legal/Financial Consultation - Consultation provided by an attorney to address the various legal and financial issues related to caring for an adult. This may include planning for eligibility for public assistance prgrams, understanding Advance Healthcare Directives and Powers of Attorney.

Education & Training - Practical, hands-on training in subjects related to research, disease specific information, stress reduction, self-care, and other relevant caregiving issues.

Link2Care - A closed, secure Internet site offering information on every facet of caregiving, including care planning assistance; expert advice; on-line support group and relevant articles. Available 24 hours a day.
