Foundation for the Technological and Economic Advancement of Mirebalais (FATEM)

FATEM is a non-profit organization that works with people in the Mirebalais area (Haiti) and around the world to increase economic and educational opportunities, sustain natural resources while fostering the advancement of technology. FATEM's mission is to be a catalyst for long-lasting positive change to benefit the residents of Mirebalais, rebuilding hope, providing educational opportunities, bridging the digital divide, and strengthening their capacity to improve their social, economic and environmental conditions. (Note: Mirebalais is a small city located in the central plateau of Haiti, near Dr. Paul Farmer's Zanmi Lasante clinic in Cange)
