Baltimore Safe Haven (BSH) envisions a world where every transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer (TLGBQ) person can live healthy, self-determined, and self-sufficient lives free from stigma, violence, and oppression. BSH’s mission is to provide opportunities for a higher quality of life for TLGBQ people in Baltimore City living in survival mode. We achieve this by engaging those living in survival mode in our communities and challenging health, safety, and prosperity barriers. In addition, BSH provides:
- Compassionate harm reduction and upward mobility services.
- TLGBQ Advocacy.
- Community engagement that is respectful, non-judgmental, and affirms and honors personal power and agency.
