UPLC is a 501(c)(3) not for profit storefront legal clinic. UPLC advocates for prisoners, tenants, and disabled people denied public benefits. Our representation in social security and landlord-tenant matters is focused on residents of the Uptown community and those involved in the criminal justice system. Our representation of prisoners covers all Illinois prisons.
