Nuveen Community Center for the Arts

The Nuveen Community Center for the Arts is the educational branch of the Arts Council of White Lake, which exists to encourage, initiate, and facilitate an enriched cultural and creative environment throughout the White Lake community. The Nuveen Center was founded in 2002 through the generosity of the Nuveen Benevolent Trust and the vision of dedicated volunteers with a passion for making the arts available to White Lake area residents and visitors of all ages and backgrounds. We achieve this through educational art classes, workshops, lectures, performances and art exhibitions provided by skilled and accomplished artists and educators. We believe that art is a powerful tool for social change and strive to offer programs that are relevant to the issues facing our community whenever possible.
