Community Action Agency of Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale

Community Action Agency (CAA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation operating for over 50 years in Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale counties in Michigan. The agency’s mission is to assist low-income families achieve self-sufficiency, initially as an organization chartered in the OEO war on poverty. This year, services will be provided to clients through over 60 programs across the three counties. Programs range from Housing Assistance/Homeownership to Weatherization. CAA also assists families to self-sufficiency through Head Start, WIC (Women, Infant & Children), Supportive Services for Veteran Families, and Volunteer Income Tax and Assistance.
