TRUC VIET

Our goal is to be the best resource for Vietnamese as a Second Language (VSL) and English as a Second Language (ESL) virtual learning and teaching, enrich the lives of Vietnamese Americans, and create opportunities for the community to learn about Vietnamese culture, customs, and traditions. Our current projects include Vietnamese and English as a Second Language programs (VSL and ESL), Citizenship Coaching program, Voters Guide, Civics 101, Educational and cultural seminars, and Cultural and social organization.

We continually seek volunteers interested in improving language access and immigrant assistance within the Austin community. Volunteers may participate from any location for the virtual language classes. Truc Viet is in need of ESL, VSL, and citizenship coaching tutors. Please note that volunteers do not need to know Vietnamese for the ESL classes. We want our students to be confident with speaking with anyone!
