The American Cancer Society and the New Mexico Cancer Center have partnered to provide a Cancer Resource Center (CRC) for the Albuquerque community. The volunteer-staffed CRC serves as a resource where cancer patients and their families can receive information during a stressful and uncertain time. Our trained on-site volunteers speak with patients one-on-one about their experience, provide referrals to ACS programs such as Look Good…Feel Better and Road to Recovery, and manage our Gift Closet, which provides free items such as wigs and prosthetics.
