Mid-Atlantic Mothers' Milk Bank ("Three Rivers")

Each month, our nonprofit milk bank distributes over 25,000 of milk to over 50 hospitals and dozens of medically fragile outpatient babies across PA, WV, NJ, MD, and DE. The donor milk, which is collected from carefully screened volunteer donors, is tested and pasteurized in our milk lab located in the Strip District.

We opened our doors in 2016 to ensure that our region's neonatal intensive care units have access to an ample supply of safe, ethically sourced donor milk. The medical evidence is clear... when mother's own milk is unavailable, banked donor milk decreases rates of serious complications, shortens hospital stays, and reduces mortality in preterm and ill babies.

Our organization is able to exist because of the generosity of those who have a passion for helping the most vulnerable babies...milk donors, financial contributors, and wonderful volunteers.
