Project Petals is an environmental and community development organization working to create and sustain environmentally sound, healthy, and equitable communities in New York's under-resourced and BIPOC communities. We run educational, leadership, and advocacy programs to create healthier environments, accessible green spaces and prepare these communities for climate change. To support community leaders, Project Petals also offers leadership opportunities and others who exhibit commitment and drive. Given our organization's unique combination of teaching and implementing those learnings into action, we have many touchpoints to assess and develop skills to create sustainable environments. Project Petals works with community leaders and community groups from across New York City and tri-state areas to improve under-resourced communities.
