Grata Connects is a startup nonprofit based in Orange County, NC, dedicated to proactively connecting people in need with the local agencies, volunteers, and neighbors ready to help them. We take an entrepreneurial approach to long-term stability — building systems, measuring outcomes, and iterating until lives actually change. We are growing fast and looking for mission-driven leaders who are ready to build something meaningful from the ground up.

Grata Connects is a startup nonprofit based in Orange County, NC, built on a simple but powerful belief: the resources to help people in need already exist in our community, they just aren't connected.

What we do is proactively bridge people in need with the agencies, volunteers, and neighbors ready to help them. We don't wait for people in crisis to navigate a confusing web of services on their own. We go to them, walk alongside them, and stay with them every step of the way, from the first conversation to long-term stability.

How we do it sets us apart. We take an entrepreneurial approach to social impact: building programs, measuring outcomes, and continuously improving until lives actually change. We track every interaction and connection with data so our donors, partners, and community can see exactly where their investment goes and what it produces.

Who we serve is anyone in Orange County facing barriers to stability, whether that's housing insecurity, lack of transportation, unemployment, or simply not knowing where to turn. We approach every person we serve with kindness, patience, gratitude, and respect, honoring the strength it takes just to survive each day.
