    Acerca de

TEX-E (Texas Exchange for Energy and Climate Entrepreneurship) is a nonprofit organization committed to driving innovation by developing, training, and connecting the next generation of energy transition and climate tech entrepreneurs and innovators. We realize this mission by providing advanced educational programming and real-world opportunities to students at leading universities who seek to lead in the energy sector and in the energy transition. TEX-E benefits from a first-of-its-kind collaboration among the University of Houston, the University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, Prairie View A&M University, and Rice University—partnering with MIT’s Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship and Greentown Labs—to build student leaders that will go on to become entrepreneurs in fast-growing energy-related startups or visionary leaders, “intrapreneurs”, within leading energy corporations. As a result, the TEX-E program creates a dynamic, student-driven startup ecosystem in Houston and throughout Texas.
