Solomon Community Temple, UMC

Solomon Community Temple, UMC is located in the Harambee neighborhood in Milwaukee. Solomon, along with residents of the Harambee neighborhood are 'pulling together' to develop and improve and support the community. We see the daily struggle of Black and Brown residents residing primarily in the most impoverished area of the city and have developed multiple ministries to help meet the needs of our community. We have a well-established food pantry, food pantry garden, programs with a focus on children and youth and we are working on green infrastructure. Many of us wear multiple hats and work together on a volunteer basis. Together we get things done.
