Children's Village

Children Village offers year-round Early Childhood Education programming for Infants (6 weeks -13 months), Toddlers (13 months-3 years) and Preschoolers (ages 3-5); and an Out-of-School Time academic enrichment program for children ages 5-13. We have been nationally accredited since 1996 by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and in 2023 we achieved accreditation for our Out-of-School Time Program from the Council on Accreditation. Our high program standards are also reflected in our achievement of the highest rating, STAR 4A, by Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS initiative.

Given our proximity to Philadelphia’s Chinatown community and our commitment to providing translation and interpretation services, we have become a significant resource for Asian-American and Asian immigrant families living and working throughout Philadelphia. We focus on responding to the needs of the wonderfully diverse community of children and families we serve. We reach out to children of all backgrounds, including those whose circumstances—such as living in poverty and learning English as a second language—can undercut school success. Since our 1976 inception, we have educated thousands of young children and supported their families, always guided by the highest quality standards.
