Our Mission and Vision

SCORE’s mission is to foster vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education. We aim to give every person the support they need to thrive as a business owner. SCORE strengthens business communities by delivering mentoring, education, and resources that give entrepreneurs the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to succeed. SCORE is the nation’s largest network of volunteer business mentors, dedicated to helping entrepreneurs start, grow and sustain their businesses. Since 1964, SCORE mentors have helped millions of small business owners turn their ideas into reality and build stronger local economies.

SCORE is a nonprofit organization and resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Our network of more than 10,000 volunteer mentors provides free, expert business mentoring, education, and resources to entrepreneurs across the United States and its territories.

Our mentors are experienced business professionals who volunteer their time to help others succeed. They provide practical guidance based on real-world experience, helping entrepreneurs navigate challenges and make confident decisions.
