CAMPAIGN FOR INCLUSIVE AWARENESS ( CIFA )

Campaign for Inclusive Awareness Nepal (CIFA) is a Non-governmental, non-profit making, non-political social organization, registered at District Administration Office, Kathmandu on 24th of Baisakh 2064 B.S. (corresponding to May 07, 2007) after being established in 2063 B.S. Besides, this organization has also been affiliated with Social Welfare Council (SWC) on 12th of Mangsir 2064 (corresponding to November 28, 2007). The head office of CIFA is located at Anamnagar-32, Kathmandu.

It is committed to work for social justice as well as protection and promotion of rights of backward community, women, children, Dalits, ethnic minority, exploited & excluded groups and marginalized, including the class that has been put backyard in every sector of social justice and development. From the outset of its establishment it has been keeping the view that excluded and marginalized community should be included in every stage of development and state mechanism for ensuring their rights and upliftment them. This organization has been established with the cooperation of youths engaged in various social sectors. The organization aims to enhance capacity and empower women, dalit, ethnic minority and exploited people to compete in society for their rights and justice.

Since its inception, CIFA has been promoting democracy and human rights through it program activities. It has organized several activities through mobilizing youth and its committed members in rural as well as urban areas in Nepal. The organization has successfully worked for the relief of earthquake affected people in Sindhupalchowk district in 2015. Similarly, it has observed the National election for the Constitution Assembly in 2008, 2013 and by-election 2014. It has mobilized about 700 election observers with collaboration of Aliance for Election Observation Nepal within 57 districts of Nepal. It has organized hundreds of dialogue program and community orientation program at Sindhupalchowk and Kathmandu for elimination of social discrimination, GBV and untouchability practices in Nepalese society. It is the campaign initiated by very energetic youths, personally and institutionally, for raising voice against the discrimination to be caused by patriarchal structure against the women, children and marginalized groups. It has been advocating for accountable governance and policy reform and make policy in for of excluded and backward community.

To work with people living in poverty and excluded people to eradicate poverty and injustice in Nepal.
