Real Lansing FC

Real Lansing FC is dedicated to offering a top-quality soccer program that is free and accessible to all Lansing area students. Our commitment goes beyond the field, focusing on skill development, teamwork and personal growth for every player. We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience organized sports at the highest level, where they can develop both their athletic abilities and life skills through the game of soccer.

Our club proudly serves a diverse group of students, including a large number of refugees from Spanish-speaking nations, Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East, reflecting the rich cultural fabric of Lansing’s community. Founded by passionate community members with a love of the sport, RLFC provides a supportive platform where players can excel in soccer while benefiting from social-emotional support and academic guidance. Our program is designed to create a positive environment that champions teamwork, leadership, and the holistic development of Lansing’s youth, ensuring they not only succeed in soccer but also gain essential skills for life.

Real Lansing FC was founded in 2024 with a mission to create an inclusive, community-based soccer club that delivers top-quality soccer programming to Lansing’s youth. With the support of our community partners, dedicated volunteers, experienced coaches and generous donors, we launched six teams in our first season and continue to grow each year. Our unwavering commitment to providing a premier soccer experience, with full scholarships available for all Lansing School District students, is made possible through the dedication of our board members and the collective support of our community. Together, we aim to empower every player—regardless of background or financial situation—with the skills, discipline and confidence to succeed on and off the field.
