The mission of I Grow Chicago is to grow Englewood from surviving to thriving through community connection, skill building, and opportunity. Cornel West said justice is what love looks like in public. Our vision is a world where love lives in public. We work to bring hope, healing, and justice to all.
We’ve been removing barriers to wellness and addressing the root causes of trauma and violence for Englewood community members since 2013. Our Peace Campus provides 15 healing justice programs and supportive resource for more than 3,000 people a year. Our family of dedicated staff and volunteers continue to nurture a culture of hope, empowerment and opportunity within a truly judgment-free BRAVE SPACE.
