MORE THAN A BED

More Than a Bed was established in September 2014. We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and are a Christian resource center for foster and adoptive families. Our vision is to inspire the community to get involved in the life of a foster child and support the family providing care. To encourage new families to be licensed and existing families to remain licensed with the goal of every child in Pima County and its surrounding areas to have a safe place to call home.

In our 5,000 sq ft warehouse we provide clothing, shoes, bedding, baby items, school items, books, cribs, toys, household items for the families to come in and shop for free for the items they need to provide for the child/children placed in their care. Through grants we purchase items much needed including cribs, twin and toddler beds, bunk beds, diapers and underwear. We believe every child should feel valued, so by helping the families get the essential needs for the children we hope we are accomplishing this.
