Smiles of Ayo Foundation

History

Established in March 2018, Smiles of Ayo Foundation (SOA) is a non-profit foundation mainly based in Nairobi Kenya and currently working in 3 different provinces. SOA was founded by a young lady By the name Joyner Odhiambo, who was driven by the desire to see more kids from slums and rural areas get basic education and families from these areas have access to health support, and be economically empowered.

Through the foundation she would like to ensure that kids enjoy childhood, have access to Education, have healthy food and economically stable

Goals

1. Empower young mothers and youth
2. Sponsor education of the less privileged kids.
3. Nature youth and young kids talents
4. To improve health services by offering medical checkups, trainings and organizing medical camps.
5. To donate food to schools in slums and rural areas.. and to community.

Achievements

Through the above mentioned programs, we currently have 124 students in our Sponsorship program, 32 successfully empowered young mothers, more than 25 kids benefiting in our talent mtaani program and numerous people have benefited from our community medical camps and food donations among other positive outcomes.

Despite the limited resources, we are proud of our achievements so far.
