Capitol Area Asset Builders

Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB), a District of Columbia nonprofit organization that puts people on the road to financial independence. CAAB’s programs help low- and moderate-income individuals and families improve their money management skills, increase their savings, and build wealth by investing wisely. Our goal is to create a community that provides everyone with incentives and opportunities to save for the future.

CAAB’s programs include providing money management and consumer education workshops, leading citywide Campaigns to encourage savings and provide free tax preparation services, and managing matched savings programs that encourage investment in education, job training, small business development, and homeownership. Additionally, CAAB advocates for programs and policies that encourage savings and wealth creation for all.
