Greer Relief & Resources Agency

Greer Relief provides emergency financial assistance to residents of Greer, Taylors, Duncan, Lyman & Wellford in crisis for rent/mortgages, utilities, and prescriptions. A Food Pantry & Clothing Closet are also available. Emergency assistance helps people who are experiencing sudden and unexpected problems with life’s basic needs. A Case Manager provides clients with individual attention to look at the entire situation...not just the emergency that brought them in the door but to see what other resources and agencies could further assist them.

The goal of Greer Relief is to meet the client’s immediate need by providing emergency aid to individuals and families so they are able to retain the service they are seeking assistance. We focus on assistance for the client to become self-sufficient so they do not rely on Greer Relief for repeated or long-term assistance.
