Senior Services of Alexandria is dedicated to helping older adults live independently, with dignity and connection, by providing essential services such as nutrition support, companionship, and community-based resources.

Senior Services of Alexandria (SSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting older adults in the City of Alexandria. We serve a diverse and often vulnerable population of seniors, many of whom face challenges such as food insecurity, isolation, limited mobility, and language barriers.

Our programs—including Meals on Wheels, Groceries to Go, Friendly Visitor, Friendly Caller, AniMeals, and our Community Connection Program—are designed to meet seniors where they are. Whether delivering nutritious meals, providing companionship, or bringing services directly into senior living communities, we focus on ensuring that every older adult has access to the support they need to remain independent and connected.
