Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital Foundation

Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital Foundation is a private not for profit Foundation with headquarters in Milan, Italy. Our core mission is the provision of financial resources and capacity building to the Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital and the St. Mary’s Midwifery Training School, both based in Kalongo (Uganda), with the aim of helping both institutions to achieve their future goal of full autonomy. The Foundation supports a non-welfare aid model which invests in human capital as an essential element to guarantee the sustainable development of both health care services and managerial skills. The Dr. Ambrosoli Foundation is a member of the Hospital Board and so far has been the only stable partner of the Hospital, providing up to 70% of hospital funds.
