Organization Overview: About FIRST Washington: 

Our mission: to inspire diverse young people to participate in team-based STEM programs supported by a knowledgeable volunteer community.

Washington FIRST Robotics is the 501c3 organization responsible for running all FIRST^® programs in Washington State. We are also responsible for the Pacific Northwest (PNW) FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) District that spans across Washington State, Oregon, and Alaska. We have been operating FIRST programs since 2002 and have a long history of providing great experiences and infrastructure for the FIRST teams. Learn more at www.firstwa.org.

Washington FIRST Robotics facilitates these programs: Junior FIRST LEGO League (Jr. FLL), FIRST LEGO League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). FIRST Robotics Competition is a program geared towards high school students (ages 14-18 years). FIRST Robotics Competition is open to everyone and provides kids with the opportunity to discover talents they never knew they had. 

Annually, Washington FIRST Robotics will facilitate over 100 events, including formal competitions, workshops, public outreach events, fundraising activities, and other critical functions to the mission of Washington FIRST Robotics through our small yet amazing staff and knowledgeable volunteer community.
