Vermont Youth Orchestra Association

The Vermont Youth Orchestra Association serves over 500 students from Vermont, New Hampshire and New York through our programs each year. The VYOA offers master classes with renowned musicians, coaching from the best music educators in the region and exciting choral, orchestral and chamber music performance opportunities within a community dedicated to supporting students’ development as musicians, citizens, and leaders. With concerts in places as varied as Carnegie Hall, the Rudolfinum in Prague and Hong Kong City Hall, regional concerts throughout Vermont and a yearly series at Burlington’s historic Flynn Theater, our students enjoy memorable experiences every year. This is no ordinary youth music organization! Join us and find out for yourself why the VYOA is one of the most remarkable programs of its kind in the United States. Our orchestras, choruses and chamber ensembles rehearse weekly from August through May at the VYOA’s home in the Elley-Long Music Center at Saint Michael's College, located in Colchester, VT.
