Our mission at Choice for All is to strengthen children and families on Long Island and beyond by expanding access to education, health and income through direct services, advocacy and leadership development. Our vision is one day, all children will be healthy and thrive on Long Island, regardless of ZIP code.

At Choice for All, we believe every child, family, and community deserves access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities needed to thrive.

We work alongside families, schools, community organizations, government partners, and local leaders to strengthen access, opportunity, and sustainability across Long Island. Our work centers children, parents, caregivers, youth, and communities building pathways toward long-term success.

Our core areas of focus include:

• Education: Expanding access to early childhood options, especially Universal Pre-K, while providing direct K–12 academic supports, no-cost educational advocacy for parents navigating special education or discipline issues, and capacity building for districts, providers, and community partners.
• Health: Supporting schools in increasing physical activity and nutrition; advocating for environmental health and complete streets; expanding food access through youth-run farmers markets and senior healthy meals programs; and partnering with academia on community-based research focused on family and community well-being.
• Financial Stability: Providing case management, basic needs access, financial empowerment coaching and services, direct relief for utility support, housing stabilization, and youth workforce development.
• Leadership + Advocacy: Building parent, youth, and community leadership through training, coalition-building, civic engagement, and spaces where community voice helps shape meaningful solutions.
