Metropolitan Maltese Rescue

Metropolitan Maltese Rescue is a non-profit corporation (501(c)(3), dedicated to placing homeless Maltese and Maltese-mixes in loving, responsible, permanent homes. Its vision is to be an active partner of a no-kill community where there are no more homeless pet.

Metropolitan Maltese Rescue (MMR) is an all- volunteer group of Maltese dog-lovers. MMR seeks permanent homes for abandoned Maltese in the New York City tri-state region. The dogs come from local shelters, are found as strays or are surrendered to MMR by their owners. MMR members foster dogs in their homes providing veterinary care, food, training, and a loving environment to the dogs until the best forever homes are found.
