Family Promise of the Mid-Hudson Valley, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization with a mission to end homelessness and promote independence and sustainability one family at a time!
As a local affiliate of Family Promise National, FPMHV addresses the crisis of family homelessness by:
- creating community awareness
- direct service to families (providing temporary shelter, hot home-cooked meals, and loving case management services)
- mobilizing community resources for partnerships, funding, and volunteer services
- operating at our Beacon of Hope Day Center, in Beacon NY (a place that offers showers, laundry facilities, meals, offices for case management services and job searching, as well as provides a temporary home address for families seeking employment)
FPMHV utilizes teams of volunteers engaged through our Interfaith Hospitality Network to offer hospitality and hope to families during this transitional stage of their lives.
