Pin-Ups For Vets' executive director and creator of the Veterans' calendar fundraiser project has volunteered her time and worked tirelessly over the last 12 years to take this project from a little-known fundraiser to the nationally acclaimed and award-winning organization that it is today. Her creativity and passion in developing such a unique project has inspired people around the country to create their own versions of this calendar fundraiser project to improve Veterans' healthcare in their local VA hospitals. With a BA Degree and background in film, theater, and television from UCLA, the director pulled together photographers, a graphic designer, hair and make-up stylists, photo editors, T-shirt designers, and a website designer and convinced them to donate their talents to create a nostalgic pin-up calendar and website, drawing inspiration from the WWII style pin-up calendars that boosted morale for our troops in the 1940's.
