Acerca de

The National Center for Law and Economic Justice is a national advocacy organization founded in 1965. The Center's creative lawyers safeguard important legal and constitutional rights of the poor, support civic participation and grassroots organizing in low-income communities, and assure that human services programs better meet the needs of low-income families. The Center works with lawyers, other advocates, and grassroots organizations to promote social justice and improve the administration of public benefit and work support programs, including cash assistance, Medicaid, Food Stamps, child care subsidies, and related public benefits. Special areas of concern include the rights of persons with disabilities, other discrimination, and privatization.
