NAMI PA, Main Line

NAMI PA, Main Line, an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is a grassroots organization offering information and support to people with mental illness, their families and friends. We offer: • workshops and forum presentations on topics of interest to individuals with mental illness and their families; • the NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program, a 12-week education and support program for family members of persons with severe mental illness; • a monthly support group for family members; • a monthly support group for adults with mental illness ; • Introduction to Services for individuals with mental illness and their family members in southeastern Pennsylvania; • How to Get Services, especially disability income, Medicaid and/or Medicare health insurance and community mental health services; • a website (www.NAMIpaMainLine.org) with much additional helpful information, including our FAQ, informative articles on mental illness and coping, Criminal Justice Resources, and Mental Health Resource Guide for Philadelphia suburbs; • Weekly Updates and our monthly Newsletter with information about local events and other resources for people with mental illness and their family members; • information and support to individuals with mental illness, their families and friends; • speakers who present information and share the perspectives of individuals with mental illness and family members with students, communities of faith, and the public; and • Advocacy Alerts, which provide information for advocacy for improved state and national policies and services for people with mental illness; For more information, email us at info@NAMIPAMainLine.org or call 267-251-6240.
