Healthy Steps Diaper Bank

Healthy Steps Diaper Bank is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that collects, stores and helps distribute free diapers through partner agencies to families in need. We the only Diaper Bank in South Central PA and serve Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Perry, and York counties.

1 out of 2 families struggle to buy diapers. Although Pennsylvania offers programs such as the Women, Infant, and Children program (WIC) and food stamps (SNAP), diapers cannot be obtained through either of these programs. Without a sufficient supply of diapers, parents are forced to keep babies in diapers longer than is healthy for the child.

Healthy Steps Diaper Bank collects diapers and then through partnerships with local non-profits, those diapers are distributed to families to supplement what they are currently able to purchase. This enables families to properly diaper their children reducing the risk of diaper rash, staph infections, and urinary tract infections. The result is a healthier child, fewer doctor and ER visits, and parents that feel confident in providing a basic need for their children.
