CO-OP is a non-profit organization in Southeastern Massachusetts that has supported individuals with brain injuries and intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities since 1972. CO-OP provides a variety of services and supports designed to encourage community involvement and valued lifestyles. Approximately 300 local citizens and their families participate in our various programs, including supervised living arrangements, employment, day habilitation, and community day services, as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapies, clinical and behavioral support, medical oversight, and assistive technology.CO-OP's mission is to help people with disabilities gain full presence and participation in community life by:

• establishing services based on individual preferences and needs within integrated community settings
• assisting in the development of skills to enrich community living
• providing opportunities and training for meaningful employment
• establishing opportunities for valued social relationships
• developing a spirit of autonomy
• eliminating barriers between the individual and their community
• eliminating barriers in the delivery of services
• promoting dignity and ensuring rights
