STEM ResearcHER
Misión
According to UIS data, less than 30% of the world’s researchers are women. Our mission is to help bridge the gender gap in STEM research fields by encouraging and supporting young women through providing them with research opportunities. We aim to do this through speaker workshops, mentorship programs, and other community events.
Acerca de
STEM ResearcHER is a student-led 501c3 organization dedicated to bridging the accessibility and gender gap in STEM research. With engaging workshops, mentorship programs, and other community events, STEM ResearcHER has reached a community of over 1200+ on social media, 100+ individuals on slack, along with 150+ attendees for events. We recently hosted an international project in Pakistan where we were able to go in-person in low-income schools to teach young girls STEM subjects through organizations such as HDF and The Kiran Foundation.
