LEARNINGINQ
Who we are LearningInq was started in 1992, with around ten years spent in thorough research to find pragmatic solutions to fundamental educational challenges in India. The LearningInq model was widely tested and further strengthened from 2002 to 2008. Pritha Ghosh was the primary researcher. The driving question was how to make quality education accessible for the most educationally vulnerable children and at scale.
To address the difficulties faced by Government Primary provisions for education action research, program management and capacity building efforts with organizations (that work with the Government) in various contexts were conducted. Practical, scalable solutions were created and tested for Government use. Success indicators have included increased enrolment, retention, community ownership of education and sustainable improvements in staff motivation.
