Mount Paran Church

The purpose of our Family Ministry is to partner with parents to make strong, committed, disciples of Jesus Christ, regardless of any differences. We believe that all children are capable of discipleship and service. The Unlimited* ministry is open to all children and youth who are affected by a disability, have developmental delays, are dealing with grief or loss, or to those who just need some extra TLC. We seek to provide an inclusion experience for all children in our regular weekly programming and special events by providing buddies to accompany them throughout their experiences.

We are a special needs ministry with approximately 100 families who are affected by special needs. We offer services to accommodate for children/youth with special needs in order to provide an inclusive church setting. We also offer a resource environment for children needing modified lessons, and who function better in a smaller environment. The students range in age from 6 weeks old to 26 years old. We do not discriminate against disability or severity, so we have a range of individuals that we serve. We are seeking volunteers who are willing to help on Sunday mornings at either of our 2 church services (9:00 am and 11:15 am), Wednesday evenings (7:00 pm), and for special events such as children’s and youth overnight camps and weekend retreats.
