Kentucky Youth Advocates (KYA) is a multi-issue, statewide child advocacy organization that has worked for nearly 40 years to improve child well-being and public policies that influence the lives of Kentucky children and families. Our work focuses on ensuring equity for vulnerable children and families, especially lower-income, minority, and otherwise disadvantaged youth. We rely on strong partnerships with organizations and leaders, credible and sound research, and effective advocacy.As an independent, nonpartisan nonprofit, KYA accepts no government funding and relies entirely on individual, corporate, and foundation support.
