Heritage OnCare Hospice

It is a great pleasure to introduce ourselves as Heritage OnCare Hospice, an organization working to expand the availability of in-home hospice care to the greater Omaha Metropolitan area. Heritage Communities provides Senior Care within five local facilities that include independent living, assisted living and memory support care. We are proud to be able to provide CHAP Accredited Hospice Care services in the following counties: Douglas, Dodge, Cass, Sarpy, Saunders, and Washington.   

In collaboration with a patient’s physician, our Hospice Medical Director and team focus on each patient’s quality of life and symptoms-management while also providing individualized spiritual care and emotional support. Hospice care teams offer stability, compassion, guidance and comfort to patients and their primary caregivers where and when it is needed the most.  

An important part of our hospice care teams includes our specially selected and independently trained volunteers who utilize their personal passions, professional skills, and dedicated compassion to provide much needed assistance and support to our administrative team, our patients, and their primary caregivers.  

Collaborating with local churches, universities, businesses, and community resource centers, we're working towards building a broad pool of volunteers to utilize with the services we offer our patients. We have a wide variety of volunteer positions available and would love to see you on our team!
