ShareCare is a non-profit organization that provides services to its members and the public, leading to independence and well-being. It also offers great opportunities to experience the rewards of serving neighbors and friends in your own neighborhood.

Since 1994, long before the "aging in place" trend, ShareCare began helping Leelanau County adults lead active and independent lives in the comfort of their own home. We provide transportation, meals, respite, friendly visits, medical equipment and much more, to help seniors age in place. All of our services are delivered by volunteers, with the oversight of a care coordinator, RN and volunteer coordinator. In addition to helping our neighbors in times of need, we offer many social activities for seniors to remain healthy and well.
