At multiple locations around the globe, a 24-hour event for peace will occur on the Northern Summer Solstice (Southern winter solstice). The Solstice officially begins at 11:59 p.m. GMT on Friday, June 20th. Vocal music celebrating peace will circle the globe starting at 11:00pm UTC/GMT on June 20th and continuing until 11:59pm GMT on June 21st. Singers from around the world will perform at some point in that time period. Solstice Sing for Peace is an all-inclusive grassroots movement/event that is neither political, nor religious.
