Clinton County Women's Center d/b/a Roads to Peace

We believe that all people have the right to a life free from the fear of violence. We further believe in the resiliency of the human spirit and the ability of individuals to control their own lives.

We provide quality services and community collaboration to promote safety and freedom from domestic and sexual violence by empowering individuals to define their own lives.

The Clinton County Women Center is located in Lock Haven Pennsylvania and functions as an emergency shelter for ALL victims/survivors or domestic violence. The staff work with the clients and residents to give them options for what they want or need to accomplish for themselves. In this process, they take the steps to start defining their own lives again.

The interns and volunteers and helpful and learn a lot while devoting time with the Center. Activities range from legal advocacy to medical advocacy and can include any other activities that are needed for the shelter or clients and residents. We appreciate all the time that is devoted by interns and volunteers and want to keep providing opportunities for people to help make a difference in the community.
