STOLA-Saluki Tree of Life Alliance is an all volunteer national IRS501(c)(3) nonprofit charity dedicated to welfare, rescue and education for the Saluki dog breed. Salukis are thought to be the world's first domesticated dogs, the companions, helpers and protectors of humans for more than 6000 years. We implement compassion, integrity and respect to ensure the well being of Salukis. We rescue Salukis from kill-shelters or abusive situations, provide them with veterinary medical care, spay/neuter, socialization, grooming and lots of love. Then we find them appropriate adoptive homes. All homes are thoroughly screened to ensure the best match for person and Saluki. Mentorship and education help to prevent rescue and future problems.
