Helping Hands of Ennis

Helping Hands is a non-profit agency that has been fulfilling its

mission of assisting families in crisis for over twenty-two years.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

It is the intent to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give water

to the thirsty, and welcome strangers as commanded by

our Lord, Jesus Christ in the Book of Matthew 25:34-36

We fulfill our mission by providing financial, food, and clothing assistance to families in crisis. Potential clients must meet certain requirements in order to receive assistance from Helping Hands of Ennis.

We are supported in part by the Greater Ennis United Way, Emergency Food and Shelter, and donations from members of the community. We have one major fundraiser each year. TASTE of ENNIS showcases Ennis restaurants in a ‘taste a bite’ setting. This event is in the fall around the fourth Thursday of September. Our thrift shop, open to the public, is an ongoing source of income and a great place to shop for gently used clothing, household goods, and collectibles. Whether you support us with donations of food, clothing, money or by shopping in our store, you are helping us help those in need. Thank you!
